It hurt seeing the united loot celebrating today 18 times theyve won the league it hurts when someone other than us wins it be it arsenal blackburn chelsea but it hurts more when its the mancs and knowing we only lost twice all season and yet didnt win the league...

i said all season we were going to do it and my god we ran those cunts close even when they were 10 points in front or whatever it was i was still the only one saying we could do it on here. **** hurts a lot seeing those cunts holding the trophy up its swomething thats going to be rectified next season now we know we can challenge ight until the end hopefully everyone will have a bit more faith and belief in the team to see us do it next season i know i will.

as for united lucky cunts they were they better enjoy it cos its coming home to anfield next season!!

That trophy's never been to Anfield. So I don't see how that could be it's home.

 Just because you're unrealistic and delusional doesn't make you the only person to believe in the team. I would have loved nothing more than for us to win the league, and up until a certain point, I believed we could do it. But there also came a time when I realised that it was becoming harder to do, you need to rely on your own performances instead of relying on other teams losing. At the end of the day LIVERPOOL were responsible for losing the title, far too many draws at Anfield against teams we should have beaten, at one point we should have been something like 12 points clear instead Man Utd were overtaking us. Being realistic does not equate to not believing in your team.

Whilst I'll agree Man Utd are definitely spawny twats, your constant deluded opinions does nothing other than make you look even more of a moron that you normally are after ramming it down everyones throat for the full season that we'd win the league, when non other than Liverpool were responsible for losing it.

I was a massive Arsenal fan yesterday really hoping that they would beat Man U and force it to go to the last day. Then I was hoping Liverpool would beat West Brom and keep it alive. As it is Man U will put out their reserves now against Hull because the League is tied up and they have the match against Barca to look to. But that was the only bad result yesterday - the rest I could take!

hitman, continually saying Liverpool are going to win every game and every competition they are in, doesn't mean you are the only Liverpool fan who believes in the team. It just shows that you're unrealistic a lot of the time. You're the only person who can't see that. Surely you should be able to see that about 4 or 5 people on here don't think you are realistic enough, yet you continue to say the same thing all the time.

Wednesday have signed Darren Purse and Tommy Miller. Both good signings in my opinion and should help us push for a play-off place next season.

They had two shots on target and scored three - sums up our luck of late! We totally outplayed them for the first 60 minutes and then someone hit the self destruct button. Seriously though, they didnt put three passes together the entire game. Oh well, **** it. Will just be all the better watching math of the day on sunday when we stay up!

Yeah, i'm sure quite a lot of people would feel that way as well. It's going to be really tough to get back up as well. I think West Brom and Boro will actually have a better shot at getting straight back up, because they won't have to make too many changes.

We have been really poor all season. Apart from all the mistakes Ashley made, the players have shown a lack of effort and a lack of quality. On paper, you would think we have a better first team than Hull, Sunderland, Stoke, Blackburn, Portsmouth and maybe a few others who stayed up as well, but it's just shown that we really don't.

Why is nobody giving Hitman **** for Liverpools finishing position? I know they didn't get relegated but all I've seen for months was how they were going to win the league on problem along with everything else, what exactly have Liverpool won this year?

They beat their best ever points total and scored more goals than anyone else in the league. They manage to sure up their back line a little and get in another striker who knows where the goal is and they'll give Man U something to think over next year. There's nothing wrong with being confident and cheering on your team even when they are up against it.

Anyway apparently the favorites to replace Ricky are Frank Rijkaard, Martin Jol and Slaven Bilic - with Gordon Strachan seemingly the stand out favorite for the job. None of those sound bad to me! Also Ellis Short is going to make a full take over. Sounds promising if done right.

Absolutely I agree 100% but Hitman is the first person to jump over everyone when their team loses or doesn't acheive something that they've said they will, I figure it should go both ways.

This

If stevie and nanddo had been fit throughout the season and we'd turned a few of those draws into wins I'd have been proven correct fact is we took united further than we have for a long time. Just got to make 1 or 2 signings in the summer and hopefully bring pacheco and san jose into the first team squad as well and i reckon next season we'll do it.

Not just because it's liverpool and i say each year we'll do it but also because:

Chelsea have a old squad that's going to need replacing plus a new managers coming in so that'll take time to build his own squad etc so i reckon they'll get 3rd
Arsenal: play fancy football but until they sort their defence out and buy a defensive midfielder/replace adebeyar they'll continue to struggle they were lucky villa slumped towards the last 3 months.

United they're the ones that are sorted pretty much even when they lost to us and fulham they got the luck of the draw once or twice i reckon they'll finish 2nd.

Absolutely I agree 100% but Hitman is the first person to jump over everyone when their team loses or doesn't acheive something that they've said they will, I figure it should go both ways.

Judging by the banter on here over the last few years I think you know I aint arsed if anyone wants to dish it out towards me/liverpool its what footballs about.

And yes we did **** up in not winning the league therefore I was WRONG with my prediction this season.

Cause he's not the only Liverpool fan on here. Absolutely gutted we didn't win the league (or anything for that matter)

I was in a Boro bar in Yarm yesturday and everyone was down cause they'd just go relagated, untill Shearer was shown on the TV and they found out Newcastle were going down with them, then they all started cheering and singing "we're going down with the geordies", was well funny.
